Q + A & important reads

Our room block is live! We will be staying at the Wigwam Hotel in Litchfield Park. Booking through our room block will give you a discounted rate, as well reduce resort fees! Follow the Website button at the bottom of page to get access to our room block. If youd like to update your room to a suite you can do so by calling the Wigwam. Our coordinator is named Alyssa. We are staying in the Junior suite due to location and extra room, but feel free to choose whichever room type suits you best. The room block requires two nights, but you are welcome to stay longer if youd like. We are staying 9/25-9/28 and plan to use the extra day to hang out at the pool on Saturday, wed love you stay with us and join! We booked the junior suite - to allow more room for bridal party to get ready in the morning. We are also trying to coordinate a shuttle to and from the hotel to the venue. Please let us know if you have any questions or if you would like to find someone to share a room with.

If you fly into town on Wednesday or before, we would be happy to pick you up or help arrange a ride from the airport, after Wednesday we will be unavailable for airport pick ups. If you are traveling to the wedding via plane, we please request you wear a mask on the plane and at airport. For those who may not know, Destinys step dad is on medication which makes him extremely immuno compromised. We would love to enjoy the wedding mask free with everyone safe and healthy! We appreciate your support and understanding.

AIRPORT TRANSPORTAION

Wedding Day Shuttle - We have reserved transportation to and from the venue for those staying at the hotel. The shuttle costs $20/person each way (includes driver tip). Please venmo shuttle payment to @destiny-azbill or reach out if you dont venmo. Hotel Pickup: 3:50 PM (30ish min ride) Bar opens: 4:30 Ceremony: 5:00 Return shuttle: Departs after the wedding ends at 10:00 PM This shuttle is competitively priced and more reliable than Uber (the venue is far into the desert) Note: The bridal party will only be taking shuttle back and transportation to the venue will be arranged￼

Here&nbsp;is the&nbsp;Address:&nbsp;31241 N 159th Ave&nbsp;Surprise, AZ 85387&nbsp; As you're coming north down 163rd nearing the venue, you will cross over the canal and shortly after you will see flags on the right&nbsp;where&nbsp;you can turn into the private road! You'll follow that down to our parking lot. *Note: if you're following Google Maps, it will tell you to continue down 163rd and turn on 159th, but this road is much bumpier, so keep an eye out for the flags!*

About four months before Jamaica, Destinys parents were in Florida and went to their jeweler that said they could find the perfect ring. After a long Facetime call talking to her mom and the jeweler I picked out the perfect ring for Destiny so all I had to do was plan the proposal. Destiny had mentioned for awhile that she wanted to get some couples pictures while we were in Jamaica just for fun and found the profile of a photographer that she really liked. I had to be sly and tell her to ask the photographer for more information whilst trying to make it seem like it was her idea. For a couple weeks I did this until finally I reached out on my own and told her my plan for a surprise proposal. Our photographer was very excited and eager to help but it was so hard trying to keep it all a secret. All Destiny knew was that we were getting couples pictures. As time went by and the trip inching closer I was still waiting for the ring to be shipped! A week before we flew out I got the call that it had finally been delivered to her parents house so now all I had to do was think of an excuse to go over there and pick it up and hide it somewhere in my suitcase. Easy right? Not really. Destiny caught wind that I was going over there so of course she had to come too! When it was time to leave her parents house I told her to go start the car so it can cool down and I will meet her out there. Well she decided to use her remote start and stay inside. Panicking I grabbed the box while she was in the other room and stuffed it in the back pocket of my pants then followed her out to the car desperately hoping she wouldnt see an unusually shaped package in my pants (hehe). I tried to take it out when I put Destiny in the car but the box was literally stuck in my back pocket so I ended up driving with it. I made a quick pit stop at a gas station to get some supplies and ended up putting the box in the bag from the store before putting it in the backseat of the car. Once we got home I put the whole bag into my carry on backpack praying that she wouldnt see. As Im getting ready for bed she tells me that she put her candies that I bought her in the secret flap of my backpack that I put the bag in! I thought my cover was finally blown. Trying to not act paranoid, I check my pack and see that the bag the ring was inside didnt contain her candy so I was trusting that she didnt see anything. Fast forward to Jamaica, finding out that we are sitting in the middle of what would become the path of Hurricane Beryl, I was starting to worry. I worried that the proposal and pictures would be ruined by the storm despite the months of planning. All the worrying aside, the day finally came. The photographer met us at the house so her and I went on the beach to discuss how we would do it. We decided that we would do some family pictures first then when it was time for her and I to do ours then I would get down on one knee. After the family pictures, our photographer told Destiny to walk in front of me down along the edge of the water. While she was in front of me I pulled the ring out of my pocket, got down on one knee and asked the famous question, will you marry me? Of course she said yes! Followed promptly by a its freaking huge! My first question after was if she had figured it out that I was planning on proposing. I guess I did a pretty good job because she said she had no idea! Probably the best part was that Destinys Nana thought I had tripped when I was getting down on my knee and started to walk towards me to help me up! Everything went perfect, especially the timing, because two days later Hurricane Beryl hit and Jamaica was without power, water, A/C, and cell service for the rest of our trip.
