“Gods timing is never late.”“You’ll know when you know.”“It’ll happen when you least expect it.” Some of the thousand quotes I have been given in my years of singleness that I was beginning to believe they had no idea what they were talking about. The Lord has always been so patient and kind with me, even in my stubbornness I have to learn the hard way. He always let me and then He was always there to hold me when I shattered on the floor. He has always had a way of patiently loving me to falling on my face in surrender when it came to finding my future husband. Something I have only ever cried, dreamed about, and yearned for. To find someone who loves me like Jesus does. Someone who truly sees all that I am and still sees me as enough. Someone who didn't ask for anything else in return for his love, and someone who I could trust my deepest and most vulnerable parts of myself with and feel safe enough to lay them on his chest. I was starting to believe the lies that I was asking too much or my standards were too high. BUT JESUS. Years, years, and more years went by. I went in Full Surrender to The Lord on finding my future spouse and released my grip of control and fully trusting God with my future in general. This is how you can't tell me Jesus doesn't exist. After an honest, falling on the ground with tears making a puddle on the floor in my Full Surrender of being okay with whatever Gods plan was for me. Married or Single forever. Not even two weeks had passed, and I was invited to go on a girlfriend's bachelorette weekend at the end of January 2025 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. We go and are having a great time when we run into a kind (yet rambunctious) group of men who we found out was on a bachelor trip themselves (his cousins bachelor trip to be exact). Long story short Dakota and I were introduced and one look in his big sweet brown eyes - the yearn to honor and protect him was instilled and the rest is history. At first, I was hesitant because I had just surrendered this to The Lord and I didn't want to take control again. I never felt The Lord say this isn't the one, I only felt absolute peace and that also scared me. Dakota’s sweet, kind, and patient pursuit was everything my little girl heart has ever yearned for. Dakotas love and love for Jesus has healed parts in me I never knew were there. He sent me flowers on Valentine's Day and that solidified him with our first date, and our story will forever continue to be written. He has shown me ways of love that I never knew could exist. He has the qualities in a man that I never knew could be wrapped up in a face like his. He is every prayer answered. I have never known a love, kindness, loyal and true gentleness like Dakota is able to give.Jesus heard every tear. “When it’s Gods timing you can't stop it” I never knew a secure and safe love like this could exist outside of Jesus, and also one that can make me the happiest version of myself I have ever been in my life. Dakota is my favorite love story.He is my favorite story still being written.A fairytale I now dream to tell our grandchildren one day.Jesus is so gracious, and Dakota is forever my dream come true. Everything God made Dakota to be was everything He knew I needed to wait for. I am overwhelmed with this kind of goodness. May I strive to make Dakota the wife he deserves. I am so happy I kept my standards to God and not of this world. Here's to this story forever being written ♥️

Destiny's Version 

On the prowl Destiny caught a glimpse of me and instantly her curiosity rose. Her feline instincts kicked in, making her move it was swift and almost unnoticeable making it seem like I was the one that pounced first. Continuing to sink her claws into my heart I couldn’t pull away. When I was once her prey I never thought this is how it’d end but I would never change the night I first laid eyes on the lady that I’d chase the rest of my life. On a more serious note, Destiny and I’s relationship began with us meeting in a time when we both were not expecting it. She was a bit reluctant at first but I knew only the good ones play hard to get. We had been seeing each other for a couple months when Destiny told me she was “all in”. Knowing exactly what that meant coming from her I knew I was eventually going to marry her. Early on in our relationship we agreed we would keep God at the center of our relationship and let Him lead us through whatever it is He has planned for us. His hand has been so evident in the big things and the little things and we are both so thankful for how He has prepared the two of us for one another.

WHAT TO WEAR? With the exception of white, ivory, or cream colors (except for under shirts) we would love for you to get dressed up with us and feel your best!   ARE KIDS INVITED? We absolutely love and adore your little toddlers! (we are an Aunt DeeDee and Uncle Kota) But unfortunately, and we hope you can understand that the ceremony and reception will be adults only - in exception of our immediate family and bridal party. Please reach out to the bride or groom if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you so much for understanding!   CAN WE BRING A PLUS ONE? The more the merrier, but only one! Due to needing to know as close to an accurate headcount as possible for food and chairs, the only way a plus one is allowed is if you RSVP and let the bride or groom know please.    TRAVEL The venue is right off a main highway as you're headed into Stillwater. It is all paved roads; no dirt roads will be driven on and there is a spacious parking lot for everyone to park in and walk in.
