Our Wedding

Most have probably heard the story of our meeting— a story of both tragedy and love. A modern day “Romeo and Juliet” is what I like to think of it as. Our first date may have been postponed a few months (and in Destiny’s parents living room), but it never dulled the undeniable spark we both felt in our conversations and getting us where we are now!&nbsp; I won’t go into too many details as most everyone know the story that led to us. From the beginning, Destiny was hooked when Hailey sent her photos of a blonde, 6’3 cowboy. Stating via text “this is literally my dream guy”. Hunter also was told by Emily she had found his “perfect girl” who was outgoing and beautiful. The moral of this: find good friends that are also good matchmakers!&nbsp; Despite the unfortunate events that happened, Hunter and Destiny never questioned the chemistry they felt. In fact, we both agree that the time prior to our first date and first meeting led to a deeper, personal bond. We were in constant communication from the time our day started to when it ended. Hunter provided encouragement, laughter, and something positive to look forward to in the darkest times of my life.&nbsp; Hunter asked Destiny’s dad, Don, for his permission to marry his daughter, but only after chickening out the first time!&nbsp;He proposed to Destiny in their backyard on September 16th, 2022 surrounded by their friends and family! A crisp, fall evening filled with love and many many happy tears (this is no surprise if you know Destiny). In our free time, we are inseparable. We love to walk our dog in our neighborhood on The Hill, watch Cardinals baseball together at Busch Stadium, find new dessert spots, and travel together. We can’t wait to begin this next chapter together as Mr. and Mrs. Coker and sell our love story to Nicholas Sparks (coming to a theatre near you).

Check in is at 3pm/ early check- in is not guaranteed. If you plan on only staying Saturday night, please keep this in mind if using the transportation as the bus will be leave no later than 2:25. Holiday Inn Express Troy, an IHG Hotel

We will have transportation to pick wedding guests up from the Holiday Inn Express in Troy IL (20 minutes to our venue) from 2-2:20pm. During the evening, the bus will make rounds from Olde Wicks Factory back to the hotel at 9pm, 10pm, and lastly at 11pm when the wedding is concluded.

If you would like to have your car easily accessible or are not staying at the Holiday Inn, there is parking at Olde Wicks Factory for guests to use!
