Jacoby and I met in the summer of 2016 at Big Bang Boom in Norfolk. We watched fireworks on the roof of his friends house, and watched our own sparks begin to fly. We dated through the summer and fizzled out as I started attending college in Lincoln while he started senior year at Norfolk High. We both dated other people before we rekindled an old flame in September of 2020. We caught up for drinks at The O, and realized that flame never fully burnt out. We started dating on November 18th, 2020. Just before our 1 year anniversary we announced that we were pregnant. We were terrified, but we had so much love and support from our families, and knew that everything was going to be okay. We moved into our first apartment together in Omaha. We welcomed our beautiful daughter, Rhea, into our family in March of 2022. Jacoby proposed November 16th, 2022. Everything leading up to the Big Day has made this entire experience the absolutely best. We have built the most beautiful little family while cherishing this 1+ year engagement. We have built a strong foundation for many years to come. We cannot wait to share one of the best days of our lives with you all!
