Destiny and David met as coworkers at the local Watertown, MN grocery store. He attended Watertown Mayer High School, whereas she attended Mound Westonka. They had clicked as friends from the beginning, but their relationship grew into something so much deeper over time. They spent most of their time together going on hours-long walks around town and down the Luce Line trail. They spent an entire summer simply enjoying each other's time like this until Destiny was faced with having to leave for college. Up until that point, they had known there was something between them, but were hesitant to make it official. Then, on July 7th, 2020, they realized just how close they had become and decided, "What the heck, why not give it a try!"

As time went on, they made the relationship work. They grew together, loved together, and discovered independence together. It didn't take long before they were living together and building a life, even through the heat of COVID. David knew he wanted to marry Destiny within weeks of knowing each other, but he knew these things needed time. The summer of 2024 rolls around, and he proposes on the beach on July 7th, their fourth anniversary!

We have been inseparable from day one! We are best friends! We respect each other and love each other deeply. Our kind of love is safe, patient, loyal, genuine, forgiving, and only grows every day we are together!
