Like many modern couples, Devan and Mason first connected through Hinge. After a few days of texting, they decided to finally hang out in person. They met on May 9th, 2023, for the first time outside the American Airlines Stadium before an evening at Hero in downtown Dallas.

That night, Devan and Mason shared a mutual love of the Dallas Stars and good vibes. We proceeded to hang out with each other every night the rest of the week, each knowing that there was something special.

Our first big test came in the impromptu decision to go on a vacation together 3 weeks after we met to Devan's home state of Florida. But as time passed, we continued to grow stronger together and over time Devan's boys, Simba and Simon, began to accept their new Cat Dad, Mason.

Now our family of four is looking to the future. We are about to purchase our first home and Simba and Simon are going to welcome either a brother or a sister in October! After showing up at the exact spot where we first met, Mason popped the question – and Devan said yes!

We are so looking forward to starting this new chapter together and can’t wait to celebrate our wedding with our family and friends!
