This story begins with a girl and a boy as most stories. This girl was a weird but kind one. This boy was a funny but caring one. They were severely single.

Prakruti was tired of her hometown and needed something different. She felt the weight of the snowy winter nights and cloudy summer days and decided she needed sunshine in her life. She needed…Florida Man! Just kidding, that is just what he calls himself sometimes. Told you this guy is funny. Anyways she moved to Florida to find sunshine. After endless hours spent on dating apps trying to find the right guy, she found that these apps overtime made her judgmental and critical and decided she needed a break to collect herself. She confided in her cousin Palak who recommended a two-date rule. The rule was you must go on two dates with a person before deciding. Prakruti took this advice and upon moving the first person she used it on stuck! She finally found her sunshine!

Devan on the other hand was at first searching for someone without any sanskar (culture), not caring about it whatsoever. As time went on, he started to realize just the importance of culture and its uniqueness. He was elated to find someone who was filled with it more so than himself but also could resonate with him and his American-Born Confused Desi-self. He always yearned to explore new experiences and try unique things, but never had someone to truly experience it with. Luckily, he found Prakruti. Someone weird and rooted enough to explore this strange world together one kooky adventure at a time.
