Hi Everyone!
We’re Marc and Deven — two people who somehow owe our entire life together to a well-timed swipe in 2019. Tinder’s algorithm really did its job, because one tiny swipe turned into a message, a message turned into a date, and that date slowly (and then very suddenly) turned into… this whole beautiful, chaotic, incredible life we get to share.
Since that first match, we’ve packed a lot into a few years. We bought a house (which made us feel like real adults), sold that house (which made us feel even more like real adults), and somewhere in between became parents to the sweetest, funniest, fastest one year old on the planet. He keeps us humble and sleep-deprived.
If there’s one hobby we’ve perfected together, it’s eating — especially sushi. Sushi is basically the third member of this relationship. When we’re not eating at our favorite sushi joint, we’re hopping on a plane almost yearly to Florida to see Marc’s family, soaking up the sunshine, and substituting sushi with crawfish at the Cajun Cafe.
We’re endlessly grateful for Deven's family here and Marc's family in Florida — the support, the love, the laughter, and the community we share. Having both families in our corner has meant more than we can ever say.
And now we’re here — celebrating our wedding with the people who have cheered us on from that very first swipe, through our first home, our cross-country and (sometimes international) flights, and our tiny human’s first wobbly steps. Thank you for being here. Thank you for loving us. And thank you for being part of this wild, wonderful, perfectly imperfect story we’ve built together.
