A Love Witnessed by the Moon Devika and Sayaf's love story began in college shortly after she returned to Connecticut to finish her studies in 2018. Sayaf asked her out on a brunch date that was meant to last a couple of hours. They spent the entire afternoon laughing and sharing their dreams and aspirations with each other until the sun began to set. Before parting ways that night, they were eager to meet up again. They made a promise to see each other and continue growing together. Before driving home that night, they noticed the Full Moon bear witness to their promise, as if their new bond felt familiar. Up to this day, they have been growing their bond with the Moon as their continued witness. After 7 years being together, they are ready to begin this next step in their journey with the blessings of their loved ones in the 8th coming year of their relationship. They are firm believers in fate bringing them together. Their love is not only special. It is an abundance that keeps showering opportunity, a light in the dark for endless guidance, and a sign that what they have has been awakened before. They believe God loves diversity, and that their bond is a beacon to others to embrace and celebrate the differences and similarities of all faiths. A past love is being remembered and its current awakening is meant to be celebrated as a timeless, precious gem that will never lose its luster.
