Jason and Devin met at Bonnaroo in 2017 through mutual friends and hit it off instantly. After spending the final concert of the festival together, Jason shook Devin's hand and awkwardly said "see you back at school." So, she figured maybe the "hitting it off instantly" was only from her point of view. But, Jason ended up texting her about a week later. After texting the rest of the summer, due to spending their summers in Louisville, KY and Greenville, IL, they came back to the University of Kentucky and picked right back up where they left off. They, of course, didn't want to start dating at the beginning of senior year, but it was obvious that was going to happen at some point. They started officially dating a couple of months into the school year.

They enjoyed two more years together in Lexington, before moving to Northern KY to start their careers in Cincinnati. They have loved creating their home in NKY over the last four years. They have a lot of amazing friends to thank for helping with that, especially after moving only a few months before the COVID lockdown.

On April 7, 2023, almost six years after "hitting it off instantly" at Bonnaroo, they got engaged! They can't wait to get married and celebrate with all of their family and friends!
