We met in college at our student center and dated through college—MIZ! Devin joined the army while Allyson finished her senior year of college. Lucky for us, Devin got stationed in Fayetteville, NC during his military career and Allyson moved home to Mooresville, NC.

For the next four years, we traveled back and forth from Charlotte to Fayetteville to see each other as often as possible. Finally, after a long five years and an 8-month deployment, we got to be with each other again when Devin moved to Charlotte to live with Allyson and their four-legged baby, Toby.

Devin proposed last year on what was supposed to be a surprise trip for him to Charleston. This trip instead turned into a total surprise for Allyson with a beautiful proposal on night one.
