The start of our story was one neither of us expected to lead to forever together. We met through the dating app Hinge, having both signed up as a joke, never thinking it could truly lead to something more than just a fleeting connection.

One day, Jami was scrolling through Hinge when she stumbled upon Devins profile. After days of waiting for a response, she was about to delete the app, but just then, Devin replied. We talked for days over text before even making a phone call, which ended up lasting over seven hours. It was then that we both knew we would be important in each other’s lives, whether as friends or something more.

We discovered we shared the same morals and values; our communication was seamless. After a while, Devin finally asked Jami out on a date - a BBQ cook-off at NRG stadium. Best date they both had in quite a while.

Later, it was discussed Devin meeting Jami’s three daughters. It didn't take long for the kids to fall in love with Devin, and for him to fall in love with them. From there, the relationship blossomed - more dates, lots of “firsts”, and so many cherished memories. All of this led up to the proposal on September 8th, 2024.
