His story • 





Our love story began in late winter of 2024. At this time I was fairly new to Washington state and stationed at Joint Base Lewis Mcchord. Me being new, I was excited to explore and venture out. One day I so happen to run into Maliyah’s social media and fell in love with her style and beauty. It wasn’t long before I sent in her a message, letting her know how beautiful she was. We both decided to set up a date and time to go bowling. I remember our first date as if it was yesterday. That day the bowling alley was busy. A couple steps in I seen Maliyah. Her beauty and smile caught me immediately. We had a great time. This is when I found out she was in cosmetology school and how passionate she was about making women feel good about themselves. After the first date we hung out more and more and eventually were with each other every chance we got. I eventually had the pleasure of meeting her Parents and Siblings who welcomed me with open arms and love. The liking stage was over and I started to fall in love with Maliyah more and more. Maliyah is truly a gift from God. She is filled with love, happiness, compassion, and so much more. One of many things I look forward to in our marriage is building and growing our relationship with God together.

Her story •



Devin and I met in the late winter of 2024. We connected through social media because he was new to the area, and I go to cosmetology school near the base. We decided on a local bowling alley for our first date. I was really nervous when I got there, scanning the room for him. Then, I spotted him from across the room, and my stomach did a little flip. I couldn't believe how much more handsome he looked in person. I could sense he was just as nervous meeting me, but we really clicked. The next week, Devin reached out and invited me to church with him. I was over the moon because I've been wanting to grow my relationship with God, and it felt like a beautiful sign that this was exactly what I needed. Devin is everything I've ever wanted in a man. He's incredibly supportive and always keeps his promises. He never fails to show up for me, no matter what. His loyalty and trustworthiness make me feel secure and cherished. Devin's disciplined and hardworking nature is truly inspiring, and his respect for me and others is unwavering. I feel so blessed to have found someone who embodies all these wonderful qualities. The thing I love most about Devin is he helps me grow my faith in Jesus Christ every day, and I've come to realize that nothing works without God. I am so thankful that with each day spent with Devin, I get to know God a little more, and it feels like a beautiful journey we're on together. I truly believe that God brought Devin into my life, and it feels like destiny. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him, sharing this beautiful journey together.
