Our journey began in May of 2022, during Shadrach's final night in Tulsa after moving from Raleigh, NC through the Tulsa Remote program. It was at an '80s prom at Cain's Ballroom where fate intervened through a mutual friend. Despite not being each other's usual type, the evening unfolded carefree, filled with dancing and the joy of newfound friendship.

Inspired by the magic of that night, Shadrach decided to extend his stay in Tulsa to explore where this connection might lead. Over the following months, what started as hanging out and building a friendship soon blossomed into countless dates and adventures, navigating some bumps along the way. Through it all, a love began to bloom—a love that was undeniable and unexpected.

Fast forward to October 21, 2023, when Shadrach proposed in the most heartfelt way, with Devin's mom and brother by his side, making the moment truly unforgettable and meaningful.

Since then, our whirlwind love story has led us down paths we never imagined: from building a business together to planning our future and eagerly anticipating spending the rest of our lives side by side.
