We were two people looking for an online connection that neither of us thought existed.

He messaged first and I left him on read for almost 3 weeks before he reached back out and I decided to give him a chance. Once we established that I couldn't call him Mike he affectionately let me call him Duncan and the online vetting process began. We talked back and forth for a few weeks asking one another a million questions to see if we were good for one another, leading up to our first date, dinner, and a concert. It was an incredible night! From there we had a game night in and dinner date, tour de Redding, and another night of dinner out. It has been a whirlwind of laughter and fun from night one.

We have enjoyed our mutual interest and love of the outdoors hiking, bike riding, camping, and beach-going while Duncs surfs and perfecting our wake surfing one ride at a time. Our adventures have taken us hot air ballooning, exploring several hiking trails both in Redding and Eureka, Catalina, Hawaii, a Giants game, a Warriors playoff game, wine tasting, skiing/snowboarding in Tahoe and Mt. Shasta, and many roadside picnics in between all while building our dream home. We are excited to continue writing the pages of our story together.
