Public Transportation

Although there is no public transit directly to The Redwoods in Yosemite, you may find Yosemite's various options helpful.

If you are staying in the valley, The Yosemite Valley Shuttle offers free rides to all of the valley's lodges, food options, campgrounds, and trailheads.

If you are flying in/traveling from elsewhere in California, the YARTS bus provides services from Fresno, Sonora, and Mammoth Lakes to Yosemite Valley and the surrounding areas.

The YARTS Highway 41 Bus operates out of Fresno and has a stop at the Wawona Store, which is about a 30 minute walk from The Redwoods. This may be the best public transit options for those flying into, or traveling from, the Fresno area.
