As a native Floridian, Blake was always seen as a simple country boy who loved spending time with his family and friends on the weekends. Blake was always the funniest guy in the room, extremely intentional with all his relationships, and loyal to a fault for those he cared about.

His weekends were usually spent at his local watering hole - Cowboys Orlando. Blake enjoyed shooting the shit with his buddies all while drinking his favorite: Crown Apple with sprite.

Devin was the epitome of the eldest daughter: hyper independent, career-oriented, and had this unwavering desire to see the world. Her empathetic heart constantly sought after deeper emotional connections with her friends, clients, and past relationships.

Her weekends were spent trying new restaurants, going out with her friends, hitting up Universal, planning her next EuroTrip, or obsessing over the Red Wings. Devin's neurodivergent tendencies made her either the wildest person in the room or the most observant - you never knew what you were going to get.

In early January of 2024, that's when everything changed.

Devin invited her cousin to a Solar Bears game and in return, Madison dragged her out to a country bar later that night. And if you know Devin... This was not her first choice of venue.

Madison ran into an old coworker of hers and they were quickly introduced to the entire friend group. This is when Blake and Devin were made acquainted for the very first time.

All night, Devin laughed at Blake's jokes, drank too many tequila sodas, and they ended their night playing jackbox till the sun came up.

After weeks of dry texting, Devin coincidentally ran into Blake again at Cowboys. They all took up a friendly game of pool and within minutes, she bluntly asked him why he never asked her out on a date. By the end of the game, they had officially made first date plans at a local Italian restaurant.
