How Do I RSVP?

Once you receive your invitation, an RSVP section will be available for you to enter your name and select your RSVP along with dietary requirements.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by May 1st, 2024. Please include any dietary requirements in your RSVP.

How do I book a room?

We have a discounted rate at the Slieve Donard Hotel. Visit their official site and add code MCDO24 to ensure you get the discounted rate. The night-before and the night-of the wedding are discounted. Rooms are on a first come first served basis, and the discounted rate is valid until 17th May 2024.

When booking your room at the Slieve, select the date(s) you wish, enter the code MCDO24 and an option to "apply promo" will appear, ensure to click that before proceeding to "check availability."

Will there be transport provided?

There will be no formal transport for the wedding, but the ceremony and reception are only 4 miles apart, and many other accommodations other than the Slieve Donard Hotel are within a mile from the reception. Please use the taxi information below to arrange any transportation you need ahead of time.

Is there parking?

For the ceremony, there is street parking available at St. Malachy's Church. At the reception, The Slieve Donard Hotel have complimentary parking onsite for all wedding guests.

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Right after the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking photos for about an hour. Guests can drive over to the reception venue (10min drive/4.2miles) where tea, coffee and refreshments will be served before the reception begins.

Will there be a party the day after the wedding?

Yes! The celebrations will continue at Maginns Bar, Castlewellan on Sunday 18th August. More details to come.
