Our Wedding

Spring of 2016…Wyatt and Devyn met at one of Wyatt’s high school baseball games. Devyn was there watching her cousin Jackson (groomsman). For some time, Wyatt thought Devyn was Jackson’s sister, so he did not pursue her (because of bro code). Only after learning they were just cousins (don’t worry he still asked Jackson for his permission), did he get Devyn’s Snapchat from his good friend, Billy (groomsman). On August 1st, 2016, Wyatt asked Devyn if she wanted to go to DQ and get ice cream. Since neither of them could drive yet, Wyatt rode his bike and Devyn walked there. They spent the evening eating ice cream and playing one-on-one basketball. They’ve been inseparable ever since. A lot has changed since then, but luckily for them, that first love spark remains. They have spent many important life milestones together, such as high school dances and graduation, college, moving in together, starting their careers, buying a house, and getting their beloved Golden Retriever, Copper (and adopting their cats, Willie and Cleo, even though Wyatt claims it was against his wishes). Together, they enjoy spending time with friends and family, fishing, hunting, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, watching Devyn’s brother, Derik play sports (groomsman aka Wyatt’s “little buddy”), spending time at each others cabins, and going on MANY ice cream dates.

Our Love Story

11/28/2024...Wyatt took Devyn and Copper to the MIB School Forest for a walk. This is one of their favorite places to go! Wyatt suggested that they take a picture because it was pretty outside with all of the fresh snow. Wyatt set up the phone camera to self-timer, and ended up getting down on one knee and proposing! AHHHH FINALLY!! BEST DAY EVER!!

The Proposal 

After nearly ten years of being together, they will be tying the knot! Wyatt and Devyn are excited to begin this new chapter of their life and about everything else life has in store for them! If you have read this far, thank you :) Now just imagine how Devyn felt waiting 8.5 years for a ring, just kidding :)

Kiah is Devyn’s cousin, but more than that, she’s like a sister. She’s the go-to for fun, good vibes, and deep, meaningful conversations. From dreaming about the future as little girls to standing together on this special day, their bond has only grown stronger over the years. Devyn is endlessly grateful for Kiah’s support, love, and friendship — she truly wouldn’t want to do this without her.

Arin and Wyatt have been friends since high school. After high school, they lived together in “The Apartment”.  They have spent a lot of time together doing dude stuff, hunting, fishing, and being over served. Despite that, They have only ever had one physical altercation, where Wyatt put Arin’s head “through a wall”. Wyatt can often times be found in Arin’s garage, coined “The Mineral Avenue Saloon”.

Macy is one of those friends you can always count on, no matter what. Over the past six years, she’s become one of Devyn’s closest people, and having her here today means everything. She’s incredibly loyal, endlessly thoughtful, and just always shows up when it matters. Devyn’s so lucky to have her and honestly can’t imagine this day without her.

On top of being Devyn’s cousin, Jackson and Wyatt have been friends since 7th grade.  Jackson is always down for anything and Wyatt sometimes has to reel in his wild ideas. Despite Jackson moving away, they are the best of friends and pick up right where they left off when together.  When Wyatt is there, Jackson never loses his phone, wallet, or keys.

Kayla and Devyn have been friends for a few years now. Whether they’re out having fun or just hanging out, time with Kayla is always something that Devyn enjoys. Devyn treasures her friendship and feels so lucky to have Kayla as one of those people who just make life better. Devyn is so excited to have Kayla by her side on such a meaningful day.

Wyatt is one of Derik’s biggest role models. Derik is like the little brother Wyatt never had. Wyatt is always quick to part some wisdom about life onto Derik, who is just as quick to roll his eyes and forget it. Derik is Wyatt’s “little buddy” and Wyatt couldn’t ask for a better brother-in-law.

Tori is one of the kindest, most thoughtful people Devyn knows — and a fellow Special Ed. teacher, which makes their bond even stronger! Watching her sweet family grow has been such a joy. Devyn feels so lucky to call her a friend (and yes, she’s Liam’s amazing mom too!). She’s the kind of friend everyone hopes to find.

Tori Hagolin

Wyatt and Billy have been friends since high school. They played ball together for years, even though Billy was always living in Wyatt’s athletic shadow.  They’ve been hunting and fishing partners for years. Often times Wyatt has to tell Billy what color/species ducks are, due to Billy’s hilarious colorblindness.  Wyatt is The Godfather to Billy’s son and will be the namesake for Billy’s next son.

Mya is a lifelong family friend of Devyn’s. She is someone Devyn has looked up to for as long as she can remember. Mya is more than just a friend; she’s family in every way that truly matters. Mya is both genuine and dependable, always showing up with unwavering support. Devyn considers herself incredibly lucky to have someone as genuine as Mya in her life.

Wyatt and Anthony are cousins that have been very close their whole lives. They spent a lot of their child hood at the Muhich’s cabin tubing, fishing, and dominating their siblings in wiffle ball.  Hunting partners when they can be and great friends. Even though quite taller in stature, Anthony has always looked up to Wyatt and strives every day to be more like his favorite cousin

Devyn and Allie have been friends since elementary school, and she’s been making Devyn laugh ever since. Allie is kind, funny, and lights up every room she walks into. Now they’re both teachers, and not much has changed — she still makes everything more fun. Devyn’s so excited to have her as a bridesmaid! It means so much to have someone who’s been there through it all by her side.

While being Anthony’s younger brother, Jake has always wished Wyatt could’ve been his brother instead.  Likewise, Jake and Wyatt spent the same time together out at the Muhich cabin growing up.  Hunting partners when they can be, Jake has made an incredible effort to deer hunt with Wyatt.  He must hate them deer. Jake has made a name for himself as a designated driver for Wyatt on multiple occasions.

Joe and Wyatt have been friends for years, but recently have gotten closer through the love of training their dogs.  While Joe is used to being “the next best thing”, he reluctantly agreed to be a part of Wyatt and Devyn’s day as what he calls “special teams”.  Joe is always quick to answer the phone for Wyatt, promptly answering with a “Hello Deputy”.

Aidan and Wyatt played ball together for years and have been friends as such.  In those years while Wyatt was captain of the team, Aidan often tested Wyatt with his “Bissonette Anger”. They have been hunting and ice fishing partners just as long.  Whether playing softball or sitting in the duck blind, they’re bound to have a good time.

Riley and Wyatt grew up in Parkville together. They played ball together, worked the pits at the raceway, and hung out in the Kintner garage. When Wyatt and Arin got their own place, Riley was a frequent flyer of “The Apartment”.  Whether playing softball or being over served, Riley is always good for a laugh.

Despite being a few years apart in age, Caden and Wyatt became good friends once Caden was of legal age to consume a “pop”. Caden is funnier than hell and one of a kind. Whether taking the wheelers for a rip, playing softball, or hanging out at “The Saloon”, Cadens bound to make Wyatt crack a grin

The son of Billy and Tori, and Wyatt’s Godson, Liam is already growing smarter and a better shot than his ol’ man. Looking forward to many years and memories together!

The hunting buddy that Wyatt always wanted and Devyn’s comfort and cuddle buddy when he gets back home. Copper is the best boy and very loved by everyone who knows him.
