It all started with a swipe- but fate had already been quietly working behind the scenes.

We met online, like most love stories nowadays. But soon after talking, we realized we had more in common than expected. It turned out that I had went to high school with his cousin, and our families had crossed paths over the years. Yet somehow over those years we had never met. It felt like the universe had been patiently waiting for the right moment to bring us together.

Our first date was a classic-movie date. Simple, low-key, yet perfect. Quickly we realized that we both had a shared love of the movies. Considering he worked at a movie theater at the time, it became a ritual for us the movie date. The first date may have been low stakes; it set up the stage for something unforgettable

Over time, our connection only deepened. From the beginning, being together felt like coming home. Around each other the world got a little quieter. As we've spent the decade growing side by side- through celebrations, challenges, laughter, and loss- we've built a foundation rooted in love. The compassion and unwavering support for one another hasn't changed since day one. We've seen each other through all seasons of life which led us to confidently feeling that "this is it".

Ready for the next chapter. After being together for over a decade we are ready to start this new chapter of our lives as husband and wife. Seeing as family is very important to us, we have chosen our wedding date with significance. 04/04 is my Papaw's (Devyn's) birthday. Christopher sadly was never able to meet him before he passed, however he knows the very close relationship I had with him and how us getting married on his birthday is our way to honor him.

Day full of love, laughter, and light. We cannot wait to celebrate with all of our family and friends.
