Our Story

How it all started

Picture of How it all started

This story begins in Brookings OR at latitude 42 on a weekend. We met through mutual friends and talked for a little bit the first night we met and played pool with our friends. After a couple weekends we would unintentionally run into each other because of the mutual friends we have. It started off as a really good friend ship which we didn’t want anything more than that. It was great to build that best friend relationship first before anything else. It’s funny because Angel would always say I was the girl version of him (good/bad.. hah wasn’t sure). All our friends knew we would end up together and when we finally did they were all happy for us.

After 2 months of dating Angel and I thought it would be a great idea to have a baby. This is the decision that basically changed our lives forever. Who in their right mind thinks to have a baby only being with someone for 2 months?! Only Angel and I, but the thing is, is that it felt like we had known each other for so long because we have really great chemistry and very similar goals. After Easton was born watching us become parents was the missing piece to our puzzle that made everything complete. Easton brought us closer and has only made us work harder for our goals and dreams to make sure he has the best life to grow up in.

On June 15, 2024 we were driving to meet my family up rowdy creek at major moores for camping. We stopped along the way so we could stretch let dog out and walk around. As we were standing talking there in the woods I was holding Easton and I turned around and Angel was down on his knee and asked me the question he already knew the answer too 🤭 YES! I have never seen Angel so stressed out and nervous the whole time we’ve been together. We then met up with my family and we told them which they didn’t believe us, until I showed them the ring hahah.

Angel and I then moved to Coos Bay so I can finish my last 2 years of nursing school and he was already working there on a boat. Moving up here made it easier for the both of us and we always push each other to be the better versions of ourselves. We want to expand our family and hopefully buy a house in Brookings after I finish my schooling in Coos Bay.
