Not many people can say they have a half sister that is 27 years older than them. Yes, you read that correctly. Kellie has always been one of Devyn’s biggest supporters and someone that she could always look up to. Devyn was the flower girl in Kellie’s wedding in 2001, and thought it would be perfect to do the switch-a-roo for hers because you can never be too old to be a flower girl.

Kinlie is Devyn’s niece, but since they are only 15 months apart in age, they have naturally always been more like sisters. Kinlie has been there for Devyn through all seasons of life as her very best friend. Kinlie and Devyn would always talk about getting married around the same time and their dream actually came true. Kinlie ended up getting married December 16th of 2023 and Devyn is following behind 6 short months later.

Katie Beth and Devyn met on their first day of working at SYNNEX Corporation 7 years ago. This was their first job right out of college and they were both very nervous. Being the only two girls in their orientation class, they naturally gravitated towards each other. It did not take long at all for them to become best friends and they have made so many memories together since then.

McKenzie is a very special person in Michael and Devyn’s lives. If it were not for her wonderful match making skills, Michael and Devyn may not be together today! McKenzie and Devyn met at SYNNEX corporation while working on the same team. They became close after going to lunch together while working in the office and realizing they had a lot in common outside of work. After years of being friends, McKenzie finally decided Devyn and Michael should meet and the rest is history!

Devyn and Rebecca met in their Bible study group 4 years ago. After attending some group meet ups and even going to trivia together many times, they realized they had a lot in common. Rebecca has been an amazing friend to Devyn over the years and has always been someone that she could call in all times of need whether it be for advice or just a laugh to get through the day.

Devyn and Meghan also met in their Bible study group four years ago. Meghan attended a lot of the group meet ups at trivia and they ended up bonding over the fact that they are both 2 wing 1’s on the enneagram personality test. They ended up finding that they are very similar in almost every way. Meghan has been a staple friend in Devyn’s life and that friendship will carry on forever.

Katherine is Devyn’s soon to be sister in law. Her and her husband Mitchell, which is Michael’s brother, and the rest of the Chemell family have been so welcoming to Devyn since the very beginning of their relationship. Devyn and Katherine have a lot in common, including their love for Taylor Swift. Devyn has said many times that she has lucked out in the in-law department!

There’s a reason Michael chose his dad to be his best man. He does not use the term lightly! He has been his biggest supporter, friend, coach, and voice of reason for almost 35 years. Anyone would be lucky to have him as a best man and father

Mitchell is Michael’s younger brother and someone who has been a constant supporter in his life. Even though there is a 5 year age gap and Michael and Mitchell are opposites in almost every way, they have grown very close over the years.

The O.G. Michael has known Will literally as long as he has been alive (minus one day). Will and Michael were born down the hallway from each other, one day apart. Their parents met in the hospital and Michael has not been able to get rid of him since.

Michael and Khalid have known each other since middle school, but didn’t start running around in the same social circles until college. Khalid has been like a brother to Michael ever since. Khalid was the mastermind behind setting Devyn and Michael up on a blind date, so we all ultimately have him to thank for this special occasion!

Michael also met Kyle in college while going to Anderson University and eventually became roommates for 2 years. Kyle has been a great close friend in Michael’s life and is someone he can always rely on. From playing golf, to going to Clemson games, Kyle and Michael’s friendship will live on forever.

Michael remembers Sean as the new kid in middle school roaming the cafeteria. They ended up becoming close friends and realized they make great travel and golf buddies. They since have traveled to various places in Europe, Mexico, and Oregon and will hopefully continue the adventures for years to come!

Will and michael actually started out as rivals when they would play each other in highschool baseball. They eventually put the rivalry aside and became great friends. Michael introduced Will to his cousin Brantley and they eventually got married a few years later. In Michael’s words, “the journey from foe, to friend, to family has been a fun one.”

A.K.A the Godfather. Wes and Michael go all the way back to little league baseball days. They since played middle school and highschool baseball together and were college roommates for 3 years. Wes was always the responsible one of the group and made sure everyone was taken care of, especially his godson (Michael)!
