By June 10th, 2024
What if i do not rsvp in time?
Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate you if you RSVP late. We will need to provide our vendors and the venue with the exact numbers by a certain date.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your envelope. For example, your envelope would list "(your name) & Guest" or "The (your last name) Family".
Considering a Gift?
Unless it is a card, we are requesting all gifts be sent to our home in Virginia linked to our wedding registry. Thank you!
Is there a dress code?
We'd love to see our friends and family dress up with us! We are requesting cocktail attire (semi-formal) for our wedding. Please no jeans, shorts, T-shirts, or flip flops.
Are there colors we should avoid wearing?
We kindly ask that you not wear colors reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, creams or any other color that could be interpreted as close to them. Moreover, please refrain from wearing terracotta/ rust dress colors and grey suits as they are reserved for the bridal party.
What do I do if I'm late for the ceremony?
The ceremony will be starting promptly at 3:00 pm, we recommend guests arrive between 2:30-2:45 pm so there is time to mingle and find a seat. If you happen to be late, our coordinator will let you know if they are still allowing guests in or if you will need to wait until the ceremony is over. If that happens, you will still be able to attend the reception so hang tight and we will see you soon. Thank you for understanding!
Will the ceremony and reception be held indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be held outside, however in the case of rain, we have a back up plan set in place to move it indoors. The reception will be held in a barn indoors with access to the patio area and bomb fire area. - both will take place at the same venue
What do you recommend wearing?
For those traveling from California, we recommend bringing light outerwear for the chill evening. For the ladies planning on wearing heels, please make sure they are comfortable enough to walk on grass during the ceremony.
What will the weather be like?
The average weather for this timeframe is a high of 80 degrees and a low of 60 degrees.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
We are opting for an unplugged ceremony. We have paid for a professional photographer to take photos during this time. Please refrain from taking your phone out during the ceremony and be in the moment with us!
Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes, there is complimentary guest parking. Signage will be posted at the entrance of the venue and the parking attendant will direct you to the appropriate lot.
What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?
We have the entire venue for the whole weekend, so there is no curfew. However the reception barn will close at midnight, but the patios and bonfire area will remain open for as long as you can party.
What food will be served?
The dinner will include an entree option of bone in chicken or chief carved ham. The sides will be garlic buttered mashed potatoes with gravy, buttered corn, tossed salad and dinner rolls.
Will there be alcohol?
*CASH BAR* The bar will be cash only. We will be providing complimentary sweet red wine from a local winery. However, there will not be any liquor/ mixed drinks, but beer, wine, and seltzers will be available for purchase.
