Like all great love stories begin, Dez and Jacob met in front of a pizza place... the iconic 5 Dollar Pizza in Cedar Falls, IA. Jacob was ending a nice night out and decided to treat himself to pizza. Dez was doing the same, saw Jacob's pizza, and decided she wanted some. Luckily for Dez, they only lived a block away from each other, so she had the whole walk to yell things at him! At some point she figured he couldn't hear her... until he turned around, smiled, and gave her a piece. The rest is history.

After graduating from UNI, Jacob and Dez officially moved into their own place together. Settling into their full-time jobs at John Deere and adding two cats they adore into their little family, they currently live in Johnston, IA. The soon to be Ruth family of Dez, Jacob, Vayda, and Vinny couldn't be more excited to celebrate this next milestone with all of you!
