Diana and Nicholas first crossed paths at Porto’s Bakery in July of 2017. Diana had just been promoted to trainer, and Nick was a new hire under her supervision. After Nick completed his training, their shifts rarely overlapped, and they didn’t have many chances to see each other. However, when they did cross paths, Nick’s corny jokes never failed to make Diana giggle.

As time went on, they began attending friend outings together and quickly became lost in conversation. They would often wait for each other to finish their shifts so they could grab a bite to eat, catch a movie, or simply spend time together.

In February 2018, Nick and Diana had their first official date. Then, on March 7th of that same year, Nick assumed they were already a couple, but Diana gently clarified that he needed to officially ask her to be his girlfriend—so he did.

Over the next few years, Nick’s career grew at Porto’s as he moved into cake decorating, while Diana pursued a career in teaching. They enjoyed five years together, making it a point to have at least one date night every week. Through the ups and downs, they supported each other, helping each other through everyday frustrations and openly communicating through any challenges that came their way.

In 2023, after Diana began her teaching career and Nick was working as an EMT, they decided to take the next step and move in together.

On their sixth anniversary, Nicholas proposed to Diana at Orange Hill Restaurant, with the city’s night sky as a stunning backdrop. Diana happily said yes.

Now, as they prepare to embark on the next chapter of their lives, they are filled with excitement and joy, eager to begin their marriage and share this special moment with all of their loved ones.
