Diana and Matt first met in 7th grade English Class. Although they were not romantically involved , they were very aware of one another as they entered high school and proceeded to eventually attend Kutztown University together .

At University, they spent a lot of time around one another. While Matt and Diana were just becoming closer as friends , there was a deep connection developing through the nights of drunken heart to hearts that would later make sense .

Eventually the college fun came to an end and they parted ways for a few years. With little to no contact with one another, in 2018 they ran into one another sharing a brief yet humorous interaction at Fran’s Pub in New Hope .

October of 2021 brought a devastating blow to both Matt and Diana when they both lost someone they held very close to their hearts. Someone who was like a big brother to Diana and Matt's very best friend .While attending the memorial for this beloved friend, they reconnected and this time was different . It has been a strong belief that a few string were being pulled up in heaven.

Matt and Diana went on their first date at The Dubliner on The Delaware. Sparks flew and within a few months they were living together in New Hope PA.

Fast foward to August 5th of 2023 in Belmar NJ- after a romantic dinner with Matt acting strange, they walked to the gazebo overlooking Silver Lake. Hiding in the bushes was Matts brother Aaron ready to hand over the ring. With both Diana and Matt in tears from laughing so hard, Matt asked Diana to spend the rest of her life with him!
