Fate (and a little beer) brought us together. We met at Cincinnati’s Oktoberfest — the largest one outside of Munich — a place neither of us expected to find our person. Diana had just started her medical residency two months prior and had moved to Cincinnati from Chicago. After a long hospital shift, she was *reluctant* to rally, but her friends convinced her that she *had* to see what all the Oktoberfest hype was about. Andrew, on the other hand, was visiting from Chicago, in town for the weekend to see his friend Brad — just in time for the festivities. Little did we know, we were both unknowingly meeting up with the same overlapping friend group that night, thanks to Diana’s co-resident (and social glue of the night), Sierra. Despite Diana rocking a dirndl and Andrew trying to stay incognito, we immediately noticed each other. Diana asked Sierra who the mystery guy from Chicago was, and upon realizing their mutual connection, she *may or may not have* strongly encouraged Sierra to make the introduction. When she did, Andrew — perhaps a little too excited — promptly spilled his drink on Diana. (A bold first impression.) But we hit it off instantly, and even though Diana thought she’d probably never see him again, she gave him her number anyway. Andrew asked her out for coffee the next morning, but by the time Diana saw the message, he was already en route back to Chicago. Luckily, we kept talking. Not long after, Diana planned a trip to “visit her sister in Chicago” (😉), and that’s when we had our first official date. The rest, as they say, is history. We've been inseparable ever since.

What is the dress code for the welcome drinks?

Think dressy casual! Women are encouraged to wear sun dresses, jumpsuits or a skirt/trouser/blouse combination. Men are encouraged to wear collared shirts (blazers are optional).

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm at Church of the Little Flower. Please arrive no later than 2:30pm to allow time to park, enter the church &amp; find a seat.

Does the venue have parking?

Yes! For those of you who prefer to drive, there is complimentary valet parking at the venue.

What is the wedding day dress code?

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! The dress code is black tie. Ladies, floor length dresses. Gentleman wear tuxedos.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event with the exception of a few older family members. That being said, we kindly ask that you only bring those formally invited on your invitation. We hope you understand &amp; enjoy the night off as we can't wait to celebrate with you!
