<p>May 8, 2017 — I was 18 at UC Merced and Adolfo had just turned 19 at Sacramento State. My high school best guy friend, Johnny, added me to a Snapchat group called "Simps" with his friends Frank and Adolfo. Johnny also happened to be Adolfo's freshman roommate that year. I started sending random snaps and noticed Adolfo always showed only half his face. I swear I only ever saw one eyebrow. He never added me, so I had to add him. We chatted on and off that summer, and then in September, back at Merced for my second year, I was at a friend’s house making bacon-wrapped hot dogs when I got a snap from Adolfo: "bout to come through." From that moment on, he became a constant in my life and honestly, I can’t imagine a day without him.</p>

The Bride and Maid of Honor, Stevie, have known each other since early on of first year of college at UC Merced. They met through one of the groomsmen, Jose. Diana had said yes to giving Stevie a ride back to LA, and those were the awkwardest 4/5 hours of their life. Both of them texting Jose how awkward it was. The only time they had talked was when they got in the car and when Diana dropped of Stevie. Who knew that a friend would blossom soon after that. Stevie’s easy laugh, loyalty, and steady presence made her a natural choice for Maid of Honor. She’s stood by Diana through school, life changes, and now as they celebrate this next chapter in Diana's life.

The Bride and Paulina have known each other since before college began. Diana first messaged Paulina about being roommates, but Paulina already had plans. Still, when first year started they met up and were inseparable from day one. They've always been the pair who meet new people, go to parties, and stick together through thick and thin. Over the years they've had ups and downs, but their friendship always finds its way back; today they’re still laughing together through every chapter.

The Bride and Elaine, have known each other since early on of first year of college at UC Merced. They became extra close second semester of college when they had chemistry class together. They'd push each other to go, even when it was so hard to be motivated to go. As years have gone by, the Diana and Elaine have watched each other grow, and have always uplifted each other. As 2 water signs, they are like 2 peas in a pod.

Diana met Lluvia through Adolfo, Lluvia is his younger sister and from the start Diana felt lucky to gain a little sister she never had. Lluvia’s warmth, curiosity, and bright energy have quickly become a cherished part of Diana’s life; she’s already shared laughs, family moments, and excitement as they look forward to the wedding.

The Groom & Best Man, Sid, have known each other since the first year at Sac State in their first engineering class where they helped each other pass the class. From there it developed to always helping each other in class whether it be different times or different teachers, we always looked out for one another. They both have developed their friendship through ups and downs of classes, crazy adventures outside of class looking for car parts, and always pushing each other in their separate careers.

The Groom and Kenny, met each other through Sid, he was also an engineering student that happened to be in the same classes as the Groom. They started to get along together, helping each other out with homework and spending a lot of time in the library, either messing around or pulling all-nighters to get assignments in or studying for exams. From there on, the Groom, Sid, and Kenny stuck together through thick and thin to successfully pass and graduate with our Bachelors degree in Engineering.

The Groom and Jose actually met through the Bride when they first started dating. They initially met when the Bride had Invited the Groom to a basketball game at UC Merced where they first met. From there, Jose was a constant friend that was invited or visited when the Bride and Groom were together. Their friendship grew stronger throughout the years
