Mark and Diane met at the tender age of 7.

Soon they were exchanging love notes (sort of).

It wasn't long before you could find them everywhere together...

...and always on the same page.

But the timing wasn't right. The rigors of middle school soon tore them apart. It seemed they were destined to be nothing more than a Golden Elementary school fling.

Until, that is, they were reunited 12 years later on a camping trip by a mutual friend. ("mutual friend" Allen also pictured here)

Their first "real" date took them across Southern California. From the beach to apple orchards to the mountainous desert, they spent 12 hours getting to know each other.

Things moved quick from there. 6 years into the pandemic (ok, 6 months) they decided it was time to move in together. While it was hard at first learning to share their snacks, their love only continued to grow.

Then in late 2020, they decided it was time for their little family to grow with the addition of Sammy "The Monster" Brown. More gremlin than dog, she taught them the virtue of patience.

They continued to celebrate life.

Then, in 2022, Diane graduated from Pharmacy school and became Dr. Le. As you can see, no one was more excited than Mark. They were finally on their way to becoming DINKWADs (for the uninitiated, that's "dual-income with a dog").

And before too long, Mark's dream came true. They were now officially in their DINKWADs Era ✨🍻

The next year flew by quick. By then, Mark knew it was time to take the next step. He asked Diane to marry him on a trip to Vietnam.

Now, Mark, Diane, & Sammy patiently wait in San Diego for their friends and family to come celebrate their big day with them ❤️
