Bill Cook is Bob's dad and he is going to be the best man for the wedding. Bill and his wife Tammy live in Clayton, NC and grew up in upstate New York. Bob is thankful for all that his mom and dad have done for their family and he is glad that they now live close to Raleigh so he can see them often. Diane is so thankful to be gaining such a wonderful father-in-law and mother-in-law and knows that God has brought some amazing people into her life. Bill is a former Data Center Coordinator at Eastman Kodak Company and also worked at a company called Lincoln Harris. He is currently employed at Time Warner Cable Company in Raleigh, NC.

Steph Hughes White is one of Diane's closest friends in Raleigh and she is honored to have Steph by her side on her special day! They met at Starting Point Church while Diane was working as the children's minister at the church and Steph was volunteering with the children. She was especially helpful with communicating in Spanish to the Hispanic children who attended the church. Steph met her husband Chase White at the church and Diane had been close friends with Chase while they were living in the same neighborhood. Diane was the coordinator of their wedding and she is thankful Steph is returning the favor of being in her wedding! The happy couple lives in Raleigh close to where Diane currently lives and they are now active members of Capital Community Church. They also have two dogs named Winston and Eleanor who are they foldly refer to as their "children." Steph studied Chemistry, Biology, and Spanish at Appalachian State University and earned a masters degree in Analytical Chemistry at North Carolina State University. She is now employed at Biomerieux in Durham as an Analytical Chemist.

Lindsay McClary Sturkie is Diane's cousin and one of the bridesmaids in the wedding. Lindsay and Diane grew up playing together when they were young and had a close bond since they are only 3 years apart in age. They also enjoyed visiting and playing with her older sisters Rose, Charlotte, and Dixie, who are now married with kids of their own. Since they were about 5 years old, Lindsay and Diane always said that they would like to be in one another's weddings, which has come true! Diane was a bridesmaid in Lindsay's wedding and now Lindsay will be in Diane's wedding. Lindsay studied Elementary Education and earned a Masters in Education from Francis Marion University in Florence, SC. Lindsay is now employed at Francis Marion University in the Education department. Lindsay and her husband Jon live in Effingham, South Carolina. They have an adorable daughter named Mackenzie, who is going to be the flower girl in Diane and Bob's wedding.

Randy Sofia is going to be a groomsman in the wedding. Randy is Bob's brother-in-law and he is married to Bob's sister Crystal. Their sons are named Isaac, Luke, and Micah, all biblical names. Randy grew up in New York and is employed with Spark 451 as Director of Engineering. Randy, Crystal, and their three boys recently moved from Brooklyn, NY to Clayton, NC, where Bob and Crystal's parents Bill and Tammy also live. Diane and Bob enjoyed visiting the Sofia family in Brooklyn before they moved and exploring the city with them. Bob is thankful to have Randy by his side on the wedding day and that his wife Crystal is also going to be a bridesmaid so they can walk down the aisle together. :)

Kevin is Diane's younger brother and he is going to be a groomsman in Bob and Diane's wedding. Diane and Kevin are 6 years apart in age and have grown closer over the years and are the best of friends, even though Kevin likes to pick on his older sister. ;) Bob is thankful to be gaining a brother-in-law and believes he and Kevin will get along great as they have a lot in common with their enjoyment of video games, music, and working out. They grew up in Mooresville, NC just north of Charlotte. Kevin graduated this past December from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a degree in Journalism and writing and earned a writing certificate. He is currently a state employee at the Department of Transportation and works as a Technical Writer and he lives in Raleigh, NC.

Crystal Cook Sofia is Bob's older sister and Diane and Bob are honored to have her be a bridesmaid in the wedding. Diane is thrilled to be gaining such a wonderful sister-in-law and brother-in-law Randy, Crystal's husband, and to become an "automatic aunt" to her three adorable sons! Their names are Isaac, Luke, and Micah, all biblical names. Bob and Crystal grew up in Rochester, NY and Bob moved to Raleigh for work. Crystal's family recently moved from Brooklyn, NY to Clayton, NC, where Bob and Crystal's parents Bill and Tammy also live. Crystal homeschools her boys and she is a wonderful mom and wife for her family. She is the "Director of Homeland Security" at The Sofia Household. :)
