He sat on the wrong seat (from 28B to 8B). She was sitting next to him. When asked to move by the legitimate occupier of the seat and queried "Is that your wife ?" and with his legendary assertiveness he answered : " yes, she is my wife". In an unbelievable act of kindness or by God's intervention, this passenger agreed to sit at the back of the plane. He then turned around to her and cheerfully said "have you ever been proposed on the plane ?". And with her witty sense of humor, she replied "In economy, on a Paris-Newcastle : never!". The rest is history...
