Our Wedding

<p>It all started in the south side of Chicago when a White Sox fan was born at the Little company of Mary hospital. Meanwhile a Cub fan for life was growing up in northern IL. But they both enjoyed the Da Bears and we will always have the Superbowl shuffle. Fast forward to the Spring of 2023 when Michael and Diane met the old fashioned way.....on the internet. Thanks to Match.com, and both of our willingness to meet at the local Perkins for a first date, the story began. Fact is we sat at the Perkins for nearly 5 hours, talking and talking and talking. We learned that our faith in God's redemptive power, our stories of love and loss up until that point, and our families were the essentials of our building blocks. So a friendship began that day. Michael loves all wheels attached to bicycles. Cycling is his favorite past time, and mountain biking is among his favorite sport of getting dirt on his tires. By day he is a building engineer, making all equipment run smoothly. He knows how to fix the houses that Diane continues to help clients buy and sell as a busy licensed Realtor in the Twin Cities. Diane went from owning only an "E" bike to include a fancy mountain bike. Being in the woods on wheels is almost as much fun as being on a boat in the water, but just almost. Boats still are bliss, and Diane's favorite way to spend a MN afternoon.</p><p>So far we have spent many summer days on our bikes exploring miles of trails around MN, and speeding along on local lakes. We enjoy the outdoors and having each other to support only makes it that much better! Turns out life sometimes gives you a second act, and we are very excited to spend the next decades + together. We are privileged to love each other, and we both are grateful for the Good Lord's blessings to us as we merge our lives together.   We are looking forward to a blissful Honeymoon in Kauai and Oahu after our MN winter wedding. Only God knows the end of our story, but as we join our lives, hearts, and families together, our trust remains in his Sovereign plan for our lives.
