Our Story

We met at a bar! Who knew that stumbling into The Factory that night, possibly a few drinks too many, would lead to us planning a wedding seven years later.

We met at a bar! Who knew that stumbling into The Factory that night, possibly a few drinks too many, would lead to us planning a wedding seven years later.
We started Dating. If you are from Kinkora, you know of the infamous Shack! That is where our story began. One chili night, Brandon somehow convinced me to get on the back of a snowmobile and head to the middle of the woods. After falling off in the first five seconds, we are both glad that I got back on. After a few bowls of chili and some drinks, our story began.

We live together! If you ask Brandon, we hung out once and I never left. While it may be true, I did leave and go to my parents to get more clothes.

We Rescue Dixie! When we adopted her, she was the most skittish dog we'd ever met, afraid of everyone and everything. From the first day she stole our hearts, and on the second day she ran away and gave us a massive scare. Since then she has become the best dog we could have ever asked for.

Dixie gets a sibling! As soon as Skoal came home, he and Dixie have been inseparable. With Skoal being a wild child, he made Dixie come right out of her shell. Together they have turned our home into a mix of chaos and dog hair, lots and lots of dog hair.

We moved to High Level, Alberta! We traded the red dirt and sandy beaches for -40! Leaving PEI was one of the hardest decisions we have ever made. While PEI will always be 'home', our new life here has been nothing but amazing.

We're Engaged! While Brandon wanted to propose on the summit of Ha Ling Peak, we did not make it that far. We were not prepared to be climbing a mountain of ice. We did make it to a look-out where Brandon popped the question. Asking a stranger to take our picture should have been the first clue, but all I could say was 'What the Fuck' over and over again in the most excited way. I don't think yes was said until we were half way down the mountain.

Millie May Arrives! After months of waiting, we finally had our little girl in our arms. She has been the best addition to our growing family, filling our days with a level of laughter and love we never thought was possible.

What is the Dress Code?


Dressy Casual: Since it is a July wedding, we are wanting you to be as comfy as possible in the warm weather. Think light and airy! For the ladies, cocktail dresses or summer dresses are perfect! For the guys, collared or golf shirts are great!



Are Our Children Invited?


We love your kids! They really do bring so much joy to our lives. To allow all of our guests, including parents, the chance to relax and celebrate, we respectfully request no children at the wedding.

We hope you understand our decision to make this a child-free event. We will only be including children in the immediate family and those participating in the wedding ceremony. Thank you for understanding!



Do I Have a Plus One?


We're so excited to celebrate with you! Due to space limitations and to keep our celebration intimate, we are only able to accommodate those named on the invitation at the ceremony.

However, we would love for everyone to come celebrate with us as we dance the night away!

Your presence is the only gift we need! As we already have a home together, we did not make a registry. We're just excited to celebrate with you.
