Dillon and Stephanie met while working at Chipotle, in early February 2020. He convinced her to join VASA gym and be exercise accountability partners. Due to the pandemic, the gyms soon closed. To maintain a bit of social interaction while social distancing, they continued to hang out frequently since they were already working together.

After playing Pokémon Go all day by the canal, Dillon and Stephanie decided to make their relationship official. She then met his parents 4 days later to celebrate his birthday. 😅

As Stephanie began graduate school and Dillon finished his final year of college, they had frequent breakfast and homework dates at Stephanie’s home, where Dillon could also bond a bit with Stephanie’s mom (and her cats).

Dillon (and his cousin Travis) helped move Stephanie into her apartment in Wisconsin for her internship at the VA, with Dillon to join her two months later after his graduation.

Dillon and Lady helped comfort Stephanie after losing her mom.

Dillon and Stephanie moved back to Indianapolis.

Dillon and Stephanie shared the wonderful opportunity to travel to India to celebrate the wedding of a good friend. Dillon’s first time abroad!

Dillon and Stephanie celebrated their anniversary, and reflected on everything they’d been through together the last 3 years.

The backyard proposal ❤️ Dillon renovated the entire deck, had trees cut down, and a patio installed. He organized flowers and hung Edison lights, and hired a photographer Stephanie likes to capture the moment. He had signs guiding Stephanie through the house into the backyard to pop the question. His plan took months of planning and assistance from his friends and Stephanie’s friends, and it all came together perfectly.
