They say you meet the love of your life when you least expect it. I did not believe it at first, but now know there is so much truth to that. I was in a friend’s wedding a couple years ago which then led to a wedding of my own. After the wedding, a bunch of us went to a friend's house to hangout and play cards, which is where Jayda and I met. I noticed her there and thought I'd seen her before but couldn’t think of her name. It was not long after the wedding night that we began talking and things just took off from there. We went on a few dates and then I asked her to be my girlfriend. Jayda has a huge heart, is kind to everyone she meets, and always makes sure to make everyone feel loved. We have taught each other many things in life. She’s taught me how to grow in my faith, and I’ve taught her a lot about farming. The farming lifestyle is definitely not an easy one to live, but Jayda has adapted well and continues to impress me with her willingness to do things on the farm. She’s not afraid to ask questions and learn about how things are done. Here’s to forever with the best!

I came back from Lincoln for the weekend as I had just started my summer job nannying. I went to a wedding dance and continued the night on at a friend of a friend's house. I remember sitting around the table playing cards with this handsome man looking over my shoulder. I asked if he wanted to sit by me because I wasn’t sure he would make a move if I didn’t. Then he proceeded to ask me where I went to high school… I quickly informed him we went to the same high school. ;) I had major butterflies from this man but knew he was older than me, and I didn’t know if I had a shot. That night Dillon texted me to make sure I made it home safely and we haven’t stopped talking since . After that night he has proved to me so much more. He has helped me become a better version of myself and constantly pushes me to grow in all areas of life. He is the most patient, trusting, selfless, and hard working man I have ever met, and I can not wait to do life with him forever. <3
