Leighton and dillon met while RA’s at Clemson University as sophomores in college.

Six flags over Georgia. Dillon did not tell Leighton where they were going and she thought he was kidnapping her.

Leighton was born in Phoenix, Arizona and grew up there until she was 9 years old. In late 2009, she and her family moved to Liberty, SC a small town about 20 minutes outside of Clemson. Leighton then attended Clemson University and received her B.S. in Civil Engineering. She now works in Atlanta, GA as a Consultant Engineer at FM Global.

Dillon is from Greenville South Carolina. He attended Clemson University and received a degree in Nursing.
