Our Wedding

Dionna and Mike’s story began in January 2021, but they often joke that their paths should have crossed much earlier. When Dionna was a freshman at Grand Valley State University, she and her childhood friend Madison would chat regularly. Madi, who was attending Oakland University, often spoke of her fraternity friends, especially one standout guy, Mike Binge. Madi couldn’t stop raving about Mike’s humor, saying, “You have to meet him! He is hilarious.” Fast forward a few years, Dionna found herself at a Bachelorette Party where her friend Lea suggested setting her up with a guy named Mike. Dionna nearly spilled her drink upon hearing the name, as she’d heard so much about him through Madi’s stories. With that serendipitous connection, Lea and now husband John took the reins and arranged a double date. The four of them met at Tap &amp; Barrel, braving the COVID-19 restrictions by sitting outside in a tent in 10-degree weather. Despite the chilly conditions, the evening was warm with laughter and great conversation. Back at John’s place afterward, Mike asked Dionna for her number.&nbsp; The very next day, Mike invited Dionna to explore St. Clair Shores with him for the weekend. From that moment on, everything fell into place, and the rest, as they say, is history.&nbsp; We can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of our story with you!

Each suite offers complimentary wireless internet, in-room safes, refrigerator, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, and coffee makers. Most rooms have 4 stairs going down from the living area to the bedroom. Please ask for a handicapped suite if you would like to avoid stairs. *You will need to call the hotel to book. Please state that you are apart of The Binge block.*
