Whether it was destiny, circumstances aligning, or even serendipity (perhaps it was the adorable dog in Krishan's dating profile), Dipa and Krishan's initial meeting possessed a certain magic. They had matched on two separate dating apps in late 2019 and early 2020. However, after a third fortuitous match, they both recognized that the universe and the algorithms guiding their online encounters were urging them to explore this potential connection.

Their connection was immediate and profound, engaging in hours-long conversations on the phone and exchanging countless text messages each week. They discovered a shared passion for family, friends, and professional aspirations, as well as a love for travel and embracing new experiences. After weeks of deepening their bond, Krishan traveled to NYC to take Dipa on a proper date…. however that was in March 2020 at the onset of the pandemic.

So their virtual journey continued until the summer, when Krishan came to NYC and they had their first date in Central Park, which solidified their connection. Over wine and lively debates about Deep Dish versus NYC slice pizza, they spoke for hours, feeling an unspoken understanding that something extraordinary was beginning to unfold.

Throughout the pandemic, amidst numerous trips between Chicago and New York, while pursuing their MBAs and embarking on new career paths, Dipa and Krishan continued to evolve together, overcoming challenges as a united force.

Then, in April 2022, a significant milestone arrived in the city of love, Florence, Italy. It was there that Krishan proposed to Dipa, a moment etched forever in their memories. In that enchanting city, they vowed to forever love and support one another, nurture their dreams and build a beautiful life side by side. Fast forward to April of 2024, they will take the final step to committing their love to each other in front of all of their loved ones.
