They say, "what starts here changes the world." Dipa and Mehul first met in August of 2014 at UT Austin. It was Dipa’s first year and Mehul’s second year. With the sole intention to get free meals through her dorm meal card, Mehul got Dipa’s number from a mutual friend and started texting her to become friends. They had never met or seen each other before. When he first laid his eyes on her outside her dorm, he was immediately attracted. Dipa, being particularly shy, opened up to him pretty quickly, and he would make her laugh endlessly. Soon enough, Dipa was falling for him. Mehul asked her to become his girlfriend on top of Mount Bonnell in Austin, TX and the rest was history. The next few years brought endless memories and adventures in Austin before both of them graduated and moved back to their hometown in DFW.

On April 28th, 2023, Mehul along with Dipa’s closest friends set up the beautiful scene for the most perfect proposal on Crystal Mountain. The views were astonishing and unreal and the weather was perfect! Mehul got down on one knee after confessing his love for her, and she said yes!
