The sumuhurtum is 5:50 AM, but all other times are estimates. We recommend arriving early to witness as much of the ceremony as possible.

4:00 AM: Groom’s entry to the wedding venue.

4:15 AM: Ankuraropanam. Bride’s entry to the wedding venue. Rituals begin with the bride performing a Gauri puja.

4:30 AM: Groom’s entry to the wedding mandapam. The groom performs a Ganesh puja.

5:30 AM: Bride’s entry to the wedding mandapam.

5:50 AM: Sumuhurtum and Mangalsutra Dharana. This is the main wedding ritual where the bride and groom apply a paste of cumin seeds and jaggery to each other's heads, symbolizing their commitment to one another. This is followed by fun games for the couple and the post-wedding rituals.

6:45 AM: Mangalaharti.

7:00 AM: Aashirwachanam. The couple takes blessings from their elders and family.

8:00 AM: Appaginthalu.

The wedding ceremony is expected to end around 10:00 AM.

Beverages will be served around 6:00 AM and breakfast will be served around 8:00 AM.

There is an extreme cold weather (15-30 degrees) warning for today and tomorrow. Please pack accordingly, and drive safely.

All events will be indoor, but you will need to walk a short distance from the parking lot to the temple. Parking is available in the temple parking lot (and surrounding lawn), the Dairy Queen across the street, or the nearby strip mall parking lots.

Please also note that shoes will not be allowed inside the temple ceremony hall for the wedding.
