So How did we meet?

We Met in our hometown in February of 2019. We were both out with friends enjoying a bar night at Murphy's Inn in Saint Clair , MI. It was not a long night ( as we both had a few drinks) but we shared a lot of laughs and carried on with our night. From there is started a friendship.

Our Friendship:

Through 2019, it was not an instant love connection, but we became friends fast. I started hanging out ( Candace ) more in his friend group where every weekend we all got together , went to our local bars and brewery , enjoyed hanging out, going to summer events and concerts in Saint Clair. We would even have Detroit nights hitting up restaurants , clubs, etc. Some of my best memories are dancing and getting to know him.

Dom and I became good friends who would eventually would confide in each other hanging out in the pool for hours , and eventually Dom calling me " Sweet Thang". We would talk about life and where we were in our independent love life ( even went as far as saying we needed to take a break from it all lol) . Not knowing what our future held.

Our Beginning & Present:

Fast forward end of Summer 2019 , and one night just Dom and I went out as all our other friends had other plans. It just clicked. All the feeling we had for each other, how much we enjoyed each others company, our comfort around each other and humor. It all made sense. We let those feelings lead the way, and Dom was my plus one to my cousins wedding. September 15,2019 we officially started dated.

We now share a home, our Dog Alice, and over 4 years of memories.

On November 24th , 2023 Dom asked me To Marry him in our living room ( with the help of our Dog Alice) after a date night, and no, I could not stop crying .
