Our Wedding

Strangely enough, death brought us together! With Lori being a Medicolegal Death Investigator and Dominic being a Funeral Director &amp; Embalmer, it was basically inevitable that our paths would cross! We met in Lubbock, Texas in 2021. At first, our relationship only consisted of projects that we both worked on for our jobs. We eventually became friends over ice cream, and grew to be close friends over time. The next couple of years consisted of highs and lows for both of us, but our friendship never ended. Following a summer trip, we talked about our lives, our futures, and our connection as friends grew stronger, sparking a love story that took us both by surprise! In December of 2023, we flew to Wisconsin for a family visit, and a (surprise) engagement! Dominic proposed at a local winery, and after a pause that felt like an eternity, Lori said yes! Planning a wedding with international plans and domestic plans has proven to be difficult, but we’ve finally made it! We are so excited that you’ve played a part in our lives at some point, and can’t wait for you to celebrate this day with us

What is the attire?

We kindly request that our guests wear formal or elevated cocktail attire.

Should I RSVP?

Yes! We ask that you RSVP no later than April 15th. This will help us in making arrangements with the venue and vendors.

Will alcohol be served?

Our event is BYOB! You bring your favorite drinks, and we'll provide mixers for you to enjoy!

Will food be served?

Yes! We've partnered with Texas Mac Shack to provide their full menu for you to enjoy!

Are children allowed?

Children are allowed to join our celebration, but please keep in mind that there will be alcohol present.

Is parking available at the venue?

Yes, there is plenty of free public parking available at the venue!

Is this going to be the most boring event of the year? 

Definitely not! We'll have plenty of food, mixers for your adult beverages, and live entertainment from B Flat Dueling Pianos! So be sure to bring your best song requests and cash tips for the band!
