Unplugged Ceremony

OH SNAP!

The bride and groom invite you to be truly present in the moment as they say&nbsp;their vows,&nbsp;and will be having an unplugged ceremony. While the Future Mr. &&nbsp;Mrs. Rudolph&nbsp;fully encourage their guests to bring their phones and cameras to document the day,&nbsp;Dominique and Brandon&nbsp;politely request that all devices be turned off&nbsp;during the ceremony. This will allow all guests to&nbsp;experience&nbsp;this moment with them without the distraction of technology. After they are announced as Mr. & Mrs., &nbsp;snap away!&nbsp;Please be mindful of the photographers that&nbsp;have been invited to document the big day;&nbsp;including the special dances, speeches, and cake cutting.

Arriving at the Sands Point Preserve is, in itself, a special experience. Cross a century-old bridge as you drive down the historic “allée” of mature trees and landscaped gardens to the Preserve’s Gate House. The first view of the Sands Point Preserve includes Castle Gould, Hempstead House, and the Long Island Sound from a distance. The Great Lawn is a majestic park – the green centerpiece of the Preserve. The Rose Garden behind Hempstead House has 1,500 red rose bushes – its fountains add a&nbsp;historic quality and are a beautiful sight when lit at night.

Six marked hiking trails weave through more than 200 acres of natural and landscaped areas. The woods, mile-long beach and cliffs, lawns, gardens and freshwater pond provide habitats for a variety of plants and animals – a bucolic scene on view for visitors.



The Sands Point Preserve on the original Guggenheim Estate embodies the grandeur and elegance that define the Gold Coast period of the early 20th century, when prominent American families built great mansions on large estates as summer retreats along the Long Island Sound. Sands Point was the famed “East Egg” of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby.”

Today, the magnificent 216-acre park, including its four historic mansions&nbsp;and the Phil Dejana Learning Center, is owned by Nassau County, NY, and is maintained and operated by the Sands Point Preserve Conservancy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The Conservancy provides year-round educational and cultural programs, seasonal celebrations, mansion tours, fitness activities as well as&nbsp;private/corporate event services and film/TV location facilities.

Sands Point Preserve

Garvies Point Brewery began operations in 2016 with a focus on&nbsp;great beer and community.&nbsp; Garvies Point is an&nbsp;Independent&nbsp;New York brewery comprised of beer-centric people passionate about creating innovative, approachable beers with the finest ingredients. Old Westbury Gardens, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is the former home of John S. Phipps, his wife, Margarita Grace Phipps and their four children.&nbsp; Completed in 1906 by the English designer, George A. Crawley, the magnificent Charles II-style mansion is nestled amid 200 acres of formal gardens, landscaped grounds, woodlands, ponds and lakes.&nbsp; Westbury House is furnished with fine English antiques and decorative arts from the more than fifty years of the family's residence.Today, Westbury Gardens welcomes visitors of all ages for guided tours of Westbury House and Gardens, in-depth tours of the formal gardens, school visits, children's programs and events, family programs, museum exhibits, classic car shows, indoor and outdoor classical concerts, summer concerts, slide lectures, book signings, horticultural demonstrations and workshops,&nbsp; Scottish Games, botanical arts and gardening classes, and Master Gardener and Educator-led Talks and Tours of topics relating to horticulture, art, history, design and architecture.&nbsp;While guests are invited to tour the house and stroll the gardens at their leisure, Old Westbury Gardens volunteers provide daily tours of Westbury House and the Gardens.
