Is April 3rd a holiday ?

April 3, 2026 does fall on Good Friday and is the third day of Passover.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is semi-formal cocktail attire. Fun and bright colors that capture the spirit of New Orleans is preferred. There is no dress code for the day after festivities

Do I have to stay at the host hotel?

No! Max and Dominique will be staying at the host hotel, Hotel Fentenot. While we will have discounted room blocks at the host hotel, you are welcome to stay wherever you please. We also have a courtesy room block at the Marriott on Canal.

Will transportation be provided to and from events?

Transportation will be provided from the ceremony to the reception. For all other transportation we suggest using Uber or Lyft. Be sure to check out the street car as well during your visit.

Can I bring my kids?

We love the kiddos but the events will be adult-only.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside. The reception will be held indoors. We recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl for the cooler evening weather.

What will the weather be like?

While we cannot predict the forecast for our special day, we did check the temperature for April 3rd of last year. The high was 83 degrees and the low was 76 degrees. We recommend checking the weather forecast closer to the date.

When do I need to RSVP?

All invitations will be sent out via text closer to the wedding date. Please make sure to RSVP yes or no as soon as possible.

What is a second line parade?

A second line parade is a New Orleans tradition that is led by a brass band and typically commemorates a special occasion. Our second line parade will be held directly after the ceremony. It will take about 15-20 minutes. Please make sure to wear comfortable shoes.

Where should I go to receive communications about the wedding?

Will crawfish be the only food served at the day after event?

No! For those who do not eat crawfish, there will be alternative dishes.

What is the connection to New Orleans?

It is one of Max's and Dom's favorite places to visit!
