Let's start with the unusual.
We became couple at the most random time—like a “trial and error” experiment. If it worked, then great; if not, well… at least we tried. :)
Back in 2021, both of us had just stepped out of long-term relationships. We were not totally healed, yet we decided to give our relationship a try. While most couples spend their first three months in a phase full of laughter, butterflies, and sweet surprises, ours was a rollercoaster of tears, arguments, and breakups… only to end up getting back together. :) We were basically in a relationship boot camp. Eventually, we realized we needed to hit pause—take a step back, heal from the past, and figure things out before moving forward.
New year, new us! Year 2022, we entered the year with peace and a renewed mindset. We slowed things down, applied all the lessons we had learned from our past relationships, things we knew would help us grow and mature together.
Three years later and counting, and by God’s grace, we’re still together—still partners, still best friends, and still finding new ways to annoy each other. :)
