Do you have a room block?

Yes! Reservations must be made by April 2nd, 2024 to qualify for our group rate at the Fairmont hotel. After April 2nd, the group is rate is no longer available. This is also Pittsburgh Marathon weekend so please utilize our room block or make other arrangements as soon as possible! More details included under "Accomodations." If you wish to have an earlier check in time or later checkout time, ask them the day of. If they can be flexible and help you out, they will but no guarantees. Fairmont offers valet parking at the main entrance for $44/night. Self-parking is available at Three PNC Plaza off Market St which is in the basement of the hotel - $7 for 1H, $12 1-2H, $16 2-4H, $22 4-12H, $30 12-24H.

What is the dress code?

Cocktail attire. Bridesmaids will be wearing a dusty sage color. If there are any questions on what to wear, don't hesitate to reach out to Natalie or Doug.

Am I allowed to bring children?

We love your children but we cannot host any children at our wedding and/or reception. We appreciate your understanding!

How long is the ceremony?

The ceremony will be about 20-30 minutes long.

Will there be an open bar at the reception?

Yes! We will also be serving appetizers at cocktail hour followed by a sit down dinner with a choice of entree.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

No earlier than 1:45 pm but no later than 2:10 pm.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Yes! There will be about a 2 hour gap where you will have time to go back to your room to freshen up, grab a drink at a nearby place, or explore the areas around you.

Will there be an after party?

Yes! Directly after the reception, there will be an after party at fl.2 (bar at Fairmont hotel) until 12 am (last call 11:30). A tab will be open for wedding guests so please mention Roche so that your drinks will be accommodated for. Feel free to change if you want to. After 12 am, the bar will close but if you want to continue the party, there are plenty of places to check out near the hotel. Wintergarden at PPG Place is a 0.2 walk from the Fairmont. What is the easiest way to get to and from our venues?

For the purpose of programming navigational devices, please use the following addresses... For Heinz Chapel: 326 South Bellefield Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213. For Wintergarden at PPG Place, use 2 PPG Place Pittsburgh, PA 15222. Uber and Lyft are popular options. Both rideshares are available throughout the city, as well as the Pittsburgh International Airport. Taxis can be found at taxi stands. You can also call for a cab by dialing 412-777-7777 for zTrip taxi sevices. Wintergarden at PPG Place is a 0.2 mile walk from the Fairmont hotel. Please just give yourself more time than usual due to the Pittsburgh Marathon events happening this weekend just to be safe.

Is there parking available near your venues?

Weddings booked at Heinz Chapel include reserved parking on the left hand side of South Bellefield Avenue (a one way street) between Forbes Avenue and Fifth Avenue. A uniformed Pittsburgh Police Officer will be present to supervise. We have access to the chapel and its grounds from 1:45 pm-3:45 pm. Underground parking is also available below Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum, 4141 Fifth Avenue. There is also metered street parking along Bellefield Avenue and other side streets around the University of Pittsburgh campus. For the reception, the PPG Place Wintergarden is located in One PPG Place. Public Entrance is located on Third Avenue. Public must show government-approved photo identification (driver’s license, military card, etc.) to gain access to the garage. The PPG Place parking garage is open 24/7. The elevator that is in the middle of each floor will take you directly to the PPG Place so that you don't even have to go outside. For exit from garage after closing, see the security guard in the lobby of One PPG Place. Saturday- All day is $5. The code to use at the kiosks will be 1295. Once you insert the code, you'll be given a ticket, which will scan at the exit to get the $5 rate. Pay station is located on the first level of the garage. Cash and all credit cards accepted. All payments must be made at the pay station 15 minutes prior to exiting. You cannot pay in advance. We recommend that you use the ParkPGH app to help you plan your parking based on real-time information. Please just give yourself more time than usual due to the Pittsburgh Marathon events happening this weekend just to be safe.

Pittsburgh Marathon Updates

The marathon and other events start on Sunday, May 5th at 7 am and go throughout the day so please make sure you plan ahead for that if you need to leave by a certain time. There will be other events on Saturday, May 4th (day of the wedding) starting at 8 am and going throughout the day. A pet walk starts at 12 pm that day. On Saturday, May 4, 2024: Road closures are expected to begin by 6:30 a.m. On Sunday, May 5, 2024: Major road closures will start around 5:30 am. As we get closer to our wedding weekend, we will provide more specific times for road closures, as well as route information to navigate in and out of the city. As of now, for what will affect us this weekend will be Liberty Ave closes at 1:30 am and opens up around 9:30 am on Sunday. If you are trying to leave the Fairmont hotel, there will be ways to get out of the city after 9:30 am on Sunday but just give yourself extra time and follow signs. After 1 pm on Sunday, you should be able to get out of the city with minimal interruption.
