Hi! My name is Jessica Herrera. I met Adriana when I was just 16 years old and we have been friends for 26 years.  She is my big sister by choice! When I think of our friendship I think of proverb 17:17,  "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity". Adriana and I have seen each other through many stages in our lives and our love has always been consistent and unconditional. I am so excited to see my girl in this new era of life… WIFE to her HUSBAND. I pray that Adriana and Isiaha share a lifetime of love and happiness.

Adriana and I were born in Cananea, Sonora, México… “La Ciudad del cobre”.  I remember babysitting Adriana when she was young. She was a beautiful baby and is now a beautiful woman with a heart of gold.  I am proud to say she is an inspiration and a role model to me for everything she has accomplished.,
I know she is not going to stop there; she will continue to strive for more goals.
Adriana is a perfect example of a woman of wisdom.

When people ask me, “How do you know the bride?” the first thing that comes to mind is all the endless sleepovers at Adriana’s house. I used to pretend to fall asleep just so my parents would let me stay the night. Once I was there, I’d torture her Barbies, doodle all over her magazines, and join in on the fun with Armando and Susan.

Some of my favorite memories are our late New Year’s Eve celebrations and watching them get in deep trouble for pre-opening gifts before Christmas. I was always in awe of the crazy fun Adriana and her siblings had, and I felt so lucky to be included. I truly grew up alongside her family—and her parents became like a second set of parents to me, people I dearly love.

Adriana has always had patience beyond her years. And if she wasn’t naturally born with it, I’m pretty sure I helped her develop it with my antics and all the “1, 2, 3, woosah…” moments.

Over the years, Adriana and I have seen each other stumble and fall, but we’ve always been there to lift one another back up. We’ve cheered each other on through every season of life. Adriana is such an angelic, wise, and loving woman, and I can only hope to carry pieces of her grace and heart with me as I continue my own path.

So today, I stand here not just as her friend, but as family—grateful to celebrate the love and joy that Adriana and Isaiah share. Cheers to a lifetime of patience, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
