Located along the beautiful McKenzie river, Vida is within a short driving distance to some of the Willamette National Forest's natural treasures. Especially for those who have never been, consider packing your swim suit and hiking shoes to fully experience the region's spectacular nature.
Koosah and Sahalie Falls Trail
A beautiful forested trail with easily accessible viewpoints of waterfalls about 45 minutes past the wedding venue along the McKenzie Highway.
Clear Lake
Another gem of the Willamette National Forest is Clear Lake. One of the nation's premier freshwater diving sites, the lake boasts incredibly clear water and a preserved ancient forest deep below. Kayaks and rowboats are available for rent, and a beautiful hiking trail runs along the entirety of the lake.
Terwilliger Hot Springs
About 35 minutes past the wedding venue along the McKenzie Highway you will find some breathtaking natural hot springs in the heart of the Willamette National Forest.
Tamolitch Falls (Blue Pool)
A must-see for anyone visiting the area. A moderate hike leads visitors to this aptly-named gem. The trail head is located about 40 minutes past the wedding venue along the McKenzie Highway.
