Located a short distance from Idaho Springs, Colorado, this hike to Saint Mary’s Glacier offers spectacular views and the chance to visit a beautiful alpine lake and glacier.


This gorgeous lake is 1.5 mile hike and is a great resting point and offers fantastic views.

Argo Gold Mill and Tunnel

Great activity to take kids on! Argo Mill & Tunnel is a really cool historic gold mill – one of the biggest and best-preserved around. They offer guided tours that last about an hour and 15 minutes, and they even include a gold panning lesson! The whole experience takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Tours run on the hour from 10 am to 4 pm. Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies, is a must-visit for baseball fans. It is about 45 minutes from Idaho Springs. The stadium is known for its hitter-friendly atmosphere thanks to the mile-high elevation, the stadium has stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. Beyond the game, fans can enjoy the rooftop deck, the SandLot Brewery, and the vibrant LoDo neighborhood surrounding the ballpark.
