When Should We Arrive/Depart?
We suggest that our guests arrive on Friday, March 28, 2024. However, if this does not comport with your schedule(s), we advise that everyone arrive in Southwest Florida before noon on Saturday, March 29, 2024 to provide each guest with appropriate time to prepare and arrive at our ceremony. Guests are welcome to leave at any time on Sunday, March 30 or extend their visit beyond then to enjoy Spring Break in beautiful Southwest Florida!
Where should we stay?
The Club at Grandezza has a partnership with Courtyard by Marriott Fort Myers at I-75 and Gulf Coast Town Center. A room block has been reserved under 'West Sconochia Wedding'. We encourage our guests to stay at Courtyard by Marriott Fort Myers at I-75 and Gulf Coast Town Center, as there is a free shuttle that will provide transportation before and after our wedding ceremony.
If guests are hesitant to stay in a hotel, we recommend the vast AirBNB/VRBO network throughout Southwest Florida, spanning from Marco Island to Fort Myers. While renting a home during your visit will afford our guests more space and privacy, it would likely require a rental vehicle. Vehicle rental at RSW is a quick, easy process.

What is the Dress Code?
The Dress Code for our wedding is Florida Formal. This dress code is in place to ensure that while we enjoy and celebrate the beautiful colors and themes that come with a Florida wedding, our guests still maintain the formality that we, along with the Club at Grandezza, require.
We ask that men wear a suit coat, dress shirt, and slacks. Ties are optional. We ask that men do not wear any of the following: hats, golf polos, jeans, khaki pants, shorts, open-toed shoes.
Female guests are encouraged to wear cocktail or Sun Dresses that celebrate the fun, vibrant theme of a Florida wedding.
What Will the Weather Be Like on Wedding Day?
Yes, Southwest Florida is very hot! However, our ceremony is in the evening and our reception is indoors. Do not let the heat deter you from wearing your suits or long dresses! Late March weather is typically highs of 80 degrees and lows of 60 degrees.
Are children invited to the ceremony & reception?
Attendance is restricted to the prescribed guests listed on each recipient's The Knot RSVP form, which does not include any children. This is to ensure an adult atmosphere and comply with venue rules.
What activities are suggested in Southwest Florida?
While we are excited to host our guests on Saturday, March 29, 2025, we encourage you all to explore our beloved home while you are visiting. If any of our guests arrive early, stay late or even extend their trip for a full Spring Break, please refer to our 'Things to Do' tab for our suggestions!
